Congratulations to John Stubbs grade 7 Late Immersion student India Hounsome, who won second place in the Canadian Parents for French Provincial French Speech competition in Burnaby on May 5. India competed against 20 other grade 7 Late Immersion students from school districts all over BC and the Yukon.
A total of six SD62 students travelled to Burnaby in order to compete in the annual event. Grade 12 provincial winners travel to Ottawa for the National speech competition in order and compete for a university scholarship.
