“To This Day Project” spreads anti-bullying message to millions!

Even though anti-bullying day was last month, we will promote awareness to it throughout the year. This is an awesome video by Shane Koyczan, a spoken word poet. The poem, To This Day, is fantastic, Shane’s passion is clear and the video is really creative. Great clip to share.

Positively Metchosin!

Students at Metchosin Tech are learning to create public art through craft and trade skills.

What the students are learning however goes beyond using saws and hammers; they are learning how to express and share, not only with each other, but into the surrounding community as well.

These “Positive Pencils” were each built by the students’ themselves. Each pencil has an important message on it such as “Friendship” and “Community”.

The class is now onto their next project- a huge mosaic mural called “Family at MTC”. So stay tuned!
