Today I’m with WCLT students in the board room at the district office, learning about and participating with other Canadian schools about the long term effect of this horrific disaster. “It Gets Better” premiere
Today I attended the premiere of “It Gets Better”, a video produced by BC’s Representative for Children and Youth, Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond. At the film were students from EMCS and Belmont. It’s a very educational and inspirational film on harassing behaviors towards LGBT students.

December 1st: Belmont’s 10,000 Tonight
Prepare for a knock at your door on December 1st. Volunteers of Belmont’s 10,000 Tonight will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Goldstream Food Bank.
